My journey in fashion began in 1990 when I earned my diploma as a Seamstress in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Over the years, I have continually refined my skills and expanded my expertise. In 2022, I graduated with a diploma in Fashion Design from the Vision College of Art and Design (VCAD) in Vancouver, Canada. Additionally, I obtained a certificate in 2023 from the Tailor Academy in Vienna, Austria, specializing in brand and collection development. Currently, I am pursuing diplomas in Professional Fashion Trends at the Tailor Academy in Austria and Dressmaking at the Dressmaking Academy in the USA, with a focus on bridal and evening wear.

My professional experience is equally diverse and enriching. I began my career as a seamstress at Utex Africa in the DRC and later gained retail experience as a Sales Associate at Cleo Clothing Store. Currently, I work with the renowned Melanie Lynn clothing brand, providing expert repair services. In addition, I am an entrepreneur and the proud owner of Celo Mode Couture, where I bring my creative vision to life, designing unique, elegant pieces that cater to my clients’ individual tastes.

With an unwavering dedication to my craft and a deep appreciation for the artistry of fashion, I am committed to continuing my journey of learning and innovation while creating designs that inspire and empower.
